This course is dedicated to the processes that come into place after pressing “click” on your digital camera. It covers the fundamentals of image editing, including RAW file conversion, localized adjustments, color to black-and-white conversions, as well as driver settings, and soft-proofing. It also looks into the preparation of images for online use and digital printing. By continuously applying these techniques and concepts to their own images, students learn the skills necessary to ensure that their uploads and prints accurately reflect both the technical and aesthetic qualities of their digital images.
