In this session, Brigid O’Shea discusses surviving in film markets and industry events without sacrificing your artistic and creative vision. She outlines strategies, practices, approaches from her experience that allow filmmakers to make the most out of film markets.

Brigid O'Shea has worked for the Berlinale Talents and later the Co-Production Market. For the past five years she has also worked on organizing the DOK Leipzig Co-Production Meeting and related DOK Industry events. She has worked for various training documentary training initiatives like the Documentary Campus and Institute of Documentary Film in Prague, and gives workshops on European financing possibilities and co-production for beginners in places like North America and the Balkans, as well as in Germany. She is the current head of DOK Industry.
