In the third meeting, participants will begin to craft the narratives and themes that they will focus on for the second performance.
Artellewa invites guests to come join the second meeting to create a new series of collaborative and politically engaged live performances. Using the "living newspaper" theater form, they will respond to subjects in the media in an artisitc and direct way.
The goal is to create a bi-weekly performances in puppertry as well as other forms in direct response to current events.
The participants will also be working closely with activist groups and socially engaged organizations to bridge the gap between art and action. All this on the beautiful new stage at Artellewa's Studio Khalat.
This project will be organized by Nina Ayach.
