Join us for a screening of the classic film “Don’t Tell Anyone,” starring Farid al-Atrash, Samia Gamal, and Nur al-Huda. “Don’t Tell Anyone” is part of the classic genre of romantic musical comedies that dominated Egyptian film production in the 1940’s and 50’s. Its sprinkled assertions of pan-Arab unity, that al-Atrash was famous for, make this film an important historical document. With plenty of songs and belly dancing, the film is also deliciously entertaining.
