The American University in Cairo, Department of the Arts celebrates five decades of jewelry design by the iconic Azza Fahmy among celebrity Egyptian designers’ documentation initiative by the Graphic Design major. Curated by Nagla Samir, “The Ripple Effect” Design Retrospective highlights human aspects of the story that inspired Azza to infiltrate a male dominated world of jewellery in the seventies and the magnificent journey of her currently world acclaimed brand.
