Zawya is hosting its very first Short Film Festival in Cinema Karim!
A total of 24 films will be screened and will be competing for 3 awards. All screenings will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. The award ceremony will take place on Feb 7th and will follow the screening of works by the jury members which are filmmakers Hala Khalil, Wael Mandour and Nadine Khan.
Awards
The prizes are in the name of Misr International Films and will be distributed as follows:
1) Best Film Prize(5000 EGP)
2) Jury Prize (3000 EGP)
3) Best Director Prize (2000 EGP)
