Mission Statement
The Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR) is an independent rights organization. It has worked since 2002 on strengthening and protecting basic rights and freedoms in Egypt, through research, advocacy, and litigation in the fields of civil liberties, economic and social justice, democracy and political rights, and criminal justice.
