Mission Statement

The Korean Cultural Center aspires to provide an interactive space for Egyptians who want to learn more beyond the Korean wave. Future projects are aimed to generate a deeper interest among the Egyptians regarding the unknown aspects of Korean culture such as art and literature, among others. The Korean Cultural Center in the Egypt is under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Egypt.
KCC will be conducting Korean language classes, also supporting speech competitions in the hopes that Egyptians would further understand the nuances of Korean speech and communicative forms. And like language, food is also a major part of a nation’s culture, a universal language that connects cultures. At KCC, projects will include the Korean Food Festival and Korean Food Cooking Classes to feed the hearty eater in the Egyptians.
And as a response to the ever-growing popularity of Kpop in Egypt, the KCC will also organize K-Pop concerts and other entertainment-related events
